The “St. Nicholas” church is built thanks to the donations of Tutrakan citizens. It was sanctified on 14th July 1865. It is a nave and two isles church. The beautiful carving of the royal gates is so impressive. The iconostasis and the paintings are the wark of master painters of the Tryavna painting class Zahari Tsanov and his son Stefan.
The first memorial service there was for the dead people from the Tutracan castle fight in 1916. The second one was the first public prayer for the freedom of Dobrudzha in 1940.
